While there are many botanic gardens throughout Australia, few of them display only native plants and none of them exclusively feature the flora of a distinct catchment. The area from which the plants are drawn stretches from the mountains to the desert and hosts a wonderful variety of species. |

Ideal for family recreation, the gardens have 2 hectares landscaped specifically for public recreation, with BBQ and playground facilities, shelter sheds, toilet amenities, all weather gravel roads and ample car parking. |
|
The garden also features a beautiful 5 hectare lake with a nesting island for native birds such as the Wood duck, Pelican and Spoonbill. The lake provides an area for all types of watersports, including swimming and canoeing. The garden provides a centrepiece for recreation, giving a quiet and beautiful place to rest, play and enjoy the beauties of nature. |
