Carl Manton has 13 years experience in local government. Carl was formerly the Chief Executive Officer of Goondiwindi Town Council. He holds a Bachelor of Business and a Master of Business Administration (specialising in Business Law).
Following the completion of his Bachelor of Business Studies through external study, Carl has seen real value in furthering his education and is now undertaking his law degree. Carl feels that this study has provided him with the business skills beyond what he could have imagined, and now knows that he can make a real difference.
Carl is married to Joy and has two children, Lachlan and Chelsea. Carl's outside interests include fishing, golf, keeping fit and spending time with his children.
Carl believes the future of local government will be exciting and that Goondiwindi Regional Council is well positioned to meet the challenges that lay ahead of it.
