The Goondiwindi Regional Council library provides a wide range of services including books and magazines, taped books, music cd's, videos and reference material.

Photocopying and internet/printing facilities are available for a small fee.

Under 5's storytelling and craft are organised along with school holiday activities. Please phone for details.

Ask staff about special needs services such as large print/audio books and internet accessibility.

Visit the Gunsynd and Rodeo Memorabilia on permanent display in the Gunsynd Museum at the entrance to the Library Complex.


GRAZIHER FEATURE - TIE UP THE BLACK DOG

Congratulations to the wonderful Tie Up the Black Dog Committee who are featured in the 2017 Autumn Edition of Graziher magazine.

Over the years Tie up the Black Dog has provided the Goondiwindi Library with a collection of mental health resources which are available for loan.

The Library also have a subscription to Graziher Magazine.

Thank you Tie Up the Black Dog Committee for the fantastic job you do, increasing awareness of depression and mental illness.

Bee-Bot is an exciting robot designed for use by young children when learning problem solving, estimation or just having fun. This colourful, easy to operation and friendly little robot is just one of the robots on feature at the Goondiwindi Library on Tuesday, 14 March between 3pm & 6pm.

Pen scanner is a life-saver for those who suffer from reading difficulties such as dyslexia. The Reader Pen is a totally portable, pocket-sized device that reads text out aloud with an English human-like digital voice.

Ozobot is a little toy robot that blends the physical and digital worlds, these little guys have light-emitting diodes (LEDs) for brains and are great for teaching kids programming.  Call into the Goondiwindi Library from 3pm to 6pm on Tuesday, 14 March to check them out!

Lego mindstorms

LEGO MINDSTORMS is a programmable robotics construction set that gives you the power to build, program and command your own LEGO robots it includes everything you need to create any of 17 robots and make them walk, talk, move and do whatever you can imagine.  To check out just how cool these robots are, call in to the Goondiwindi Library on Tuesday, 14 March between 3pm and 6pm to give them a go.

The Goondiwindi Library now has some NEW Early Reader Boxes.  These boxes are full of new early reader books and have been divided into early emergent, emergent and fluent readers to make selecting an appropriate book for each level much easier.
